STAFF UPDATE
Just as winter changes into spring, it is this time of year that we say good bye to our current GP registrars and to welcome new people into the practice.
Dr Ganesh has been with us part time for the last year and has worked hard not only here but burning the midnight oil on text books, enabling her to pass her exams to work independently in primary care.
Dr Milligan is moving to the A&E department at York Hospital for the next stage of his training.
Both GP registrars have been very well recived by staff and patients and will be missed!
Their successor is Dr Tripti Karumbaya, who will be with us for a period of six months. She has been working in different locations around York and will complete her training to become a GP whilst she is with us. I am sure you will all give her a warm “Minster” welcome.
We are also delighted to welcome Dr Helen Taylor as a partner in the practice. She has been working with us for some months as an assistant. Dr Taylor has also become our lead on child protection issues and learning disabilities. She is married with three teenage children.
