Practice Services — Routine Appointments

We operate a telephone triage service for appointments requested within a week to see the GP. The receptionist will check your telephone number and, if you agree, a brief description of the request (this allows the doctors to prioritise the return telephone call). You can request a suitable time for this – we will do our best to return the call as near as possible to it!. The doctor will arrange an appointment for you if necessary and with the most suitable clinican or choice if available.

However,if you want to book an appointment ahead to see a doctor or nurse the receptionists will make these for you, generally up to 2- 3 weeks in advance. according to availability.

We have some appointments at the beginning and end of each day to try to accommodate those who have fully dairies but these are limited in number.

Please remember that each appointment is timed for one person and ideally one problem only

If you are unable to keep an appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible, so that it can be given to someone else: even one hours notice can normally be filled by someone with an acute problem.
